University Supplied Insurance

Insurance is included in residence fees for the 2023/2024 year.

 

Residents will be covered for $10,000 of content insurance and $1,000,000 in liability insurance through Marsh.

Policy Info

If there is loss or damage to personal items or if the resident causes damage to a residence building/room, it is the responsibility of the resident to report any claims.

In the event of an occurrence likely to result in a claim, immediate notice should be provided by the resident to the program administrator (Marsh Canada) or the claims adjuster (IPG):

  • If you have not received you policy number by email and need to make a claim, please use #UOC00001

The adjuster should be contacted within 24-48 hours.

Residents that would like to purchase insurance that covers more than $10,000 in content and $1,000,000 in liability may do so
